Some of you know I’ve been an avid collector of low brow and pop surrealism art going back to the mid-90s. Most of my collection was acquired directly from the artists, people like Doug Nason, and through galleries like CoproGallery, Julie Rico, and the La Luz de Jesus Gallery, among many others.
I just found a long-forgotten box of Art Show postcards tucked in the back of the workshop, including many dozens from the original Copro Nason Gallery, co-founded by Greg Escalante and Doug Nason.
One of my favorites is “Tainted” by the artist, TIN – shown below.
